A day with Dr Sarah Beynon and 'Dung Beetles' and more
A great time was had on Ramsey Island today by 14 of us ageing from 3 to 70+ years investigating her passion for ‘Dung and its inhabitants’

After returning to St Justinian’s a few of us were treated to the launch of St David’s existing Tyneside which then did a lovely pass by the new Tamar boat. As pure chance would have it both boats have the number 026 in their identification number

All at sea 16 may 2013
After a few months indoors it was wonderful to be off shore again on our first trip offshore with Thousand Islands. Grassholm Gannets spectacular as ever also on the Island Raven, Peregrine falcon, an unprecedented number of Guillemot and good numbers of Kittiwake. At sea lots of puffins, Manx shearwater An Arctic skua, Storm petrel etc. Also one small pod of Common dolphin

Today on Ramsey island

What a wonderful day on Ramsey today. It is such a lovely Island. Blue Skies lots of birds, Buzzard, Chough, Raven, Larks, Pipits, Goldfinches, Stonechats, Fulmars the list goes on. Plus seals and, I saw my first Ramsey Vole as well as a small Lizard fancying his chances with my Ham Sandwich!
