Just back from a trip to Northumberland – many thanks to Alan ( Hawkeshead photography)and Andrew (Serenty boat Trips) for their arrangements. A trip to the Outer Farne from Seahouses was brill – lots of Seals, Scoter, GNDivers, RTDivers, Waders, etc etc.
How many other people can say they have managed to ‘Head Butt’ the Outer Farne – not once but twice within an hour of landing!!
Also managed to see lots of birds in other locations, Eiders in the surf, wonderful Bullfinches etc the list goes on.
Brilliant scenery, St Abbs, Eyemouth, snow on the Cheviots and two more lifeboat Stations ticked and added to my life list – yes, very sad I know
