Thanks to everyone at Thousand Islands and RSPB Ramsey for a fantastic day on Ramsey Island. Blue skies, turquoise seas, all sorts of wildlife, Chough, Raven, Peregrine falcon, Little owl, Wheatears, Linnets, House and Sand martins, Swallows, Fulmars, Auks, Red deer etc etc etc - and to complete the magic of Ramsey a White rabbit.

Thanks to Thousand Islands, Ramsey staff, volunteers a lovely day on was spent on Ramsey Island yesterday. By chance I found a very active pair of parent Pied Wagtails Feeding was intense and eventually the first one of the brood fledged leaving at least two behind. It was simply good luck that I caught the moment the chic had its first flight. I wonder if the 'remainers' fledged after we had left the Island. Incidentally I used a telephoto lens and the pics have been heavily cropped so as to keep a good distance away from the brood
