There was a good selection of Birds on a grey and murky day at The Welsh Wildlife Centre 4 days ago including Robins and a Mistle thrush both specially there for Christmas, also, Water rail, Curlew, Teal, a lovely drake Goldeneye and in the afternoon gloom a pair of Reed bunting

Unusual, for me at least to see a Mistle thrush on the Teifi marshes. Photo taken from the Old Rail Track near the Mallard Hide on 17 December
No doubt 'real photographers' can find all sorts of faults with the photos but tonight as I watched the Moon rise over St David's Airfield the experience was really what mattered. No wind and silence - can't beat it. Such a magical County we live in.
