I hope you all have a good New Year and 2024 is 'kind' to us all. A change this year - not a sunset but a pair of Pintail to welcome in next year

A lovely few hours at Teifi Marshes today – nice to see a Curlew and Blackwit feeding in the Rivers edge and a Kingfisher. As it clouded over it began to really feel that Autumn is well and truly with us.

My suffering of 'Cabin Fever' was temporarily relieved when I escaped recently from 'The Shire' and spent some time with a group of Ring ouzels in the Elan Valley. Although I have a few long distance snaps I have for a long time I have wanted to try for some better images. I still have lots of images to go through - maybe I clicked to many times !!!

A bit of a selection from the North Pembrokeshire Coast and Goodwick/Fishguard. They are Chough, Bull seal, seal pup now weaned and in molt, Curlew, and, a Cormorant. All photos were taken from very public footpaths and Viewpoints using a telephoto lens. Except the Caterpillar which was standing next to me.

Another Boat trip this time with ‘Bay To Remember’ departing from St Dogmaels. Good numbers of Bottle nosed dolphins and calves. The third photo shows an animal a few months old but still just showing the remains of the Feotal Folds, Seals were at Cemais head. The colours at Cemais head looked lovely in the evening sun which was starting ‘to go to bed’ as went to shore
