Once again off into the night - So much of their time goes into perfecting skills for when someone desperately needs them

 

Just doing a bit of photo sorting on another gloomy day - some from last year in my garden when the sun was shining. A young family of Collared doves, a young Blackbird foraging on my so called 'lawn' , A very wet Blue tit and a Red admiral. Not all 'gardens' have exotic visitors but wildlife is there if we stop and look for it

 

A very cold couple of hours on the windswept St Davids Airfield today hoping some of the 400 or so Golden Plover would come close and personal to be photographed. Well they did not do that so it was all very long distance photography resulting in heavily cropped photos. Well worth it though as they are welcome winter visitor displaying wonderful aerobatics accompanied with their wild piping call. Thank you Sandra Young for letting me know they are there.
