Just sorting through some old photos and came across these which some of my 'Boaty' friends may enjoy. Taken in 2012 in 2010 St Davids ex Lifeboat Garside. Long gone to a new life but not forgotten here in St Davids

 

A bit cold and windy at Whitesands this evening but an interesting sky and sunset

 

Goodwick this afternoon was quiet bird wise this afternoon. A Grey heron departed as the tide moved forward. A single Curlew was trying to prepare a crab supper whilst a group of 15+ Turnstones were busy rushing backwards and forwards

 

A Yellow Legged Gull was at Goodwick a few evenings ago. Thanks to Owen Roberts and Dave Astins for the ID confirmation

 

Yesterday was a lovely change spending some time at Strumble head. Seal activity was rather slow with one male and one female showing briefly. A sunset is always nice there as was a nice 'piece of cod' whilst watching the lights at Goodwick on a flat calm sea after sunset.

 

On an evening trip with ‘Bay to Remember’ tonight sailing from St Dogmaels we enjoyed a lovely sunset and a distant Osprey

 

Both the All weather and inshore St Davids Lifeboats launched on exercise yesterday

 

Its national Whale and Dolphin week - From my photos I have quickly chosen a High flying Bottle nosed dolphin from Ceredigion, a Fin Whale with Common dolphin and two Manx shearwater. Humpback and Blue whales from Iceland

 

St Davids RNLI Open day saw lots of people enjoying a guided tour around the Station and Boats, Lovely cakes, tea and coffee as well. Nice to see the Shop open and restocked as well. At the end of the day we were treated to a launch and display of all three boats based here. Thanks to the everyone at RNLI St Davids for today

 

Just 3 of the 10 red Arrows flying over St Davids Airfield a few days ago Always impressive even when on passage and not displaying

 

I went to llanelli a few days ago. Nice to see the long staying Long tailed duck and a good number of Black tailed godwits still present as well.

 

Mothers and Calf Bottle nosed dolphins on a recent trip from Newquay with Sea Mor

 

It was beautiful morning earlier for The St David's Lifeboat to Launch on exercise.

 

Lots of Sand martins and some Swallows passing through St Davids at the moment. They are not easy to photos of as have a quick drink whilst in flight.

 

Very few people, fantastic colours. and, moody skies this afternoon. We are so lucky to live here. It has to be Whitesands
