There are now seven Waxwings on the Teifi marshes at Cilgerran.

 

Spent most of today at Goodwick hoping to see the Humpback whale again. That was not to be but there was other wildlife including, a Male Stonechat shouting at everyone who walked through his territory, a Redshank showing dainty movements while feeding, a Porpoise silently entered the Harbour and left as it came, a lady Seal came and gave us all a lovely smile.

 

A Humpback Whale breaching in Fishguard around dinner time today - a long long way off hence the quality of the photos. However it was a fantastic thing to see

 

Just a few from a quick trip out of ' The Shire into Ceredigion'. Some of the thousands of Starlings roosting under the pier at Aberystwyth, Long tailed tit and three Waxwings at Cilgerran

 

I hope you all have a good New Year and 2024 is 'kind' to us all. A change this year - not a sunset but a pair of Pintail to welcome in next year
