Two photos from Galloway at the end of March - a Herring
gull bathing in the park at Galloway and part of an amazing 200 plus group of Greenland
white fronted geese near Stranraer - they were a long way off and taken with a
canon 500mm lens - I have seen small groups before at Slimbridge and in
Pembrokeshire + Ceredigion but never a group like this - I wish them' bon voyage'
for their flight over the mountains of Iceland to their breeding gounds
