Sunday 5th June On a boat trip with Thousand islands to Grassholm and returning via the Southern 'corner' of Ramsey Island the sea was completely flat with not a breath of wind. On the way we saw hundreds of Puffins, lots of Guillemots, Razorbills, Manx shearwaters, Fulmar petrels and approx 10 of the tiny Storm petrels for once easily spotted in the calm conditions as indeed were the Porpoise. Grassholm, the only Gannet colony in Wales, was as normal active and hectic. Amongst the Guillemots there we spotted this 'bridled version' see photo - wearing white glasses - and a Peregrine Falcon. Ramsey was where we saw Kittiwake nesting and this handsome Oyster Catcher posing for a photograph
