I 'snooked' out of Pembrokeshire today - AGAIN !!! This time it was in a Gorge in Carmarthenshire. Pics include Dipper and nestlings and Grey wagtail and Fledglings. Dipper nestlings were a long way away in a very dark place. All photos taken from a public footpath and heavily cropped.

 

Breeding summer visitors

 

Once again I have 'snooked' out of Pembrokeshire, this time in search of breeding summer visitors in the hills North of Llandovery.  Yes pied Flycatcher and Redstart.  Not brilliant photos - long distance and heavily cropped but a male and female of each. Both lovely birds to see and enjoy.   I noticed the male Flycatcher (Black and white) had a pathetic little piece of nesting material whilst the female (brown) collected loads and was seemingly doing all the work.  Just sayin'  fellas  that all !!!

New arrivals in Goodwick by the Ocean Lab today - 12 Mallard 'babies' - it must be spring
