Seal 5. This pup was born at St Justinian's where people congregate for boat trips. We could see it develop every day. The boat skippers and crew did a fantastic job in talking to people and keeping it safe. . Seal pups are categorised depending their development - Class1 is up to 6 days old and is described as Body contour thin, neck well defined, skin in loose folds around the body, coat may be yellow. Shown is the same pup at 3 and at 4 days old showing no sign of the umbilical cord. They sort of resemble a large bag with not a lot inside it More to follow on the life of what is now 'our pup'
